Seiyuu FanFic? – Yes or No

If anyone was wondering (which is close to one or none at all), school’s burning me out, so I haven’t been around much lately. I’ve only started to catch up on anime (bad idea, as I have a test every day this week). (*´Д`*)=3 Anywho, I’ve debated for a while now on whether I should make a seiyuu fanfic post or not. Honestly, I really do want to share the creative works of OtaAgg, but she never finishes any stories that she starts! So hopefully, this entry will encourage her to write more and finish one of her many fanfics that have left me hanging. (*´□`*)!

The following story is still being developed, so there is no end to it yet. It started off as an impromptu by stringing phrases together, then it ballooned out to satisfy our egotistical minds. There is no specific start point to the story. These stories are random scenes that are not told chronologically, but are somehow integrated into our fictional lives.

A little background before I begin with the story. Last week, j1mone recently posted a miscellaneous diary entry, and there was a little tibid about Marimite. On MSN, OtaAgg proceeds to talk about her dearest Mamiko, and finally decides to “set up” her harem. Now, she is no longer the  triad boss, A-姐 – my Goshujin-sama has become an oyabun, and I, her underLing, a honbucho.

I’ve always wondered…

Filed under: miscellaneous — Tags: — staappy @ 9:26 pm

Since j1m0ne conveniently posted an entry today about Kogao and Dekagao face sizes, I thought it was about time I put this question up for answer. So, can anyone tell me what Minorin’s secret weight loss regime is, kudasai? (*´Д`*)

The other day I was looking through some old seiyuu magazines, dating 2002-2006, and I realized that Minorin first appeared chubby, and not so bijin. So I plotted dots: 1) Haruhi came out in ’06, and she was still chubby then. 2) N/A. 3) I got seiyuu fever around the time, and Minorin was one of the first seiyuu I took notice of. Picture? The dots don’t connect, unfortunately.

Minorin’s debut went from this:

To this, in a year’s time:

I’m pretty sure I got the pictures right, in terms of chronologically, but correct me if I’m wrong. Surely something happened between 2006 and 2007, as the difference can be seen in the Animelo DVDs. Then again, she only appeared on stage during the singing of OUTRIDE for a few seconds as the camera panned over the Haruhi trio in the DVD, so I can’t be too sure.

Boy, if only I can lose weight like that and maintain such a great look!

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha series

Synopsis: Yuuno Scrya is a mage from a distant planet working to fix the problem he started when Jewel Seeds were accidentally spread around the world. In a failed attempt to seal a seed properly, he winds up on Earth in the form of a ferret. However, his battle with the seeds did not end upon reaching the Earth and he needs somebody else’s help to seal the seeds for him. Takamachi Nanoha hears his telepathic cries for help and comes to his rescue. When she is given a pearl known as the Raging Heart she is able to transform into Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha and wield a staff to fend off the evil that lies within the Seeds. In order to help Yuuno complete his mission, she needs to seal all 21 Jewel Seeds away, but Fate may be playing a hand in the matter to prevent Nanoha’s goals. -Source: ANN

There are definitely better series out there, and although Nanoha doesn’t make my top ten lists, it does make a favourite. I can’t believe I’ve delayed downloading and watching it for the longest time. To have made two sequels and an upcoming movie means that this series is a must-watch for Nana, Yukarin, and Kana fans. I’ve put off this entry for a while now, and I haven’t updated in a long time because of it, so here it is!

Warning, image heavy.
