SEIYUU FTW!!

To my surprise, I found out through countless YouTube clips that seiyuu are some of the most down-to-earth celebs out there. Compare even the seiyuu idols, the likes of Hirano Aya, and Chihara Minori, to those of Hollywood fame, like, iuno, Angelina Jolie, Brittany Spears. Spears is a wreck, who knows what happened to her…just look at her sister. Jolie is anorexic like heck, and there’s no way you can raise so many kids to live out their lives and their heritage in your household (coming from an anthropologists’ point of view).

Yes, the title says it all. Seiyuu blackmail list, hit or miss? I do inquire HOW Ryu managed to get a hand on all of these profile pictures…if I were a popular seiyuu, I would never, ever, want these pictures to resurface and to destroy them by all means…

Nana vs Sammi

As much as I love Sammi Cheng (鄭秀文), her concert in Hong Kong this past year pales compared to Mizuki Nana (水樹奈々).

ARIA is officially over…

And I’m quite sad about it.
ARIA has got to be one of the most inspirational anime series I’ve seen…
Even tho I’ve watched only a handful, it’s a slice of life anime that hits it right home to the heart.
The manga has officially been licensed by Tokyopop, as well as the box set for North American release.

The last few eps were extremely heartbreaking — I can’t believe it’s over. :(
They may be animated characters on pixels, but I felt the strong wave of emotion brought upon by Ohara Sayaka’s character, Alica Florence. Snow White is, indeed, Snow White.

I guess I have nothing more to say, but seeing as OtaAgg hasn’t finished watching the series yet, I won’t spoil anything (EVEN THO SHE WATCHED THE RAWS TILL THE END). And she said she might type up a lil’ something about ARIA, so I’ll wait for that. :)

So OtaAgg and I were talking about how this month’s ep of Mnemosyne sucked…I didn’t watch it yet, so there wasn’t much to say, cept that [spoilers] Tanaka Rie came back and died again [/end spoilers]. Then she came to the conclusion that it was probably cuz she needed cash so the staff let her voice another ep. Since AN is coming, I thought that maybe she needed to buy another animal yakuza outfit to cosplay in.

Thus, spawned our needed conversation of dressing up our seiyuu with their animalia counterpart.

So soul’s rhapsody and I were talking about bishoujos…I think it’s cuz we were talking about going back to watch old yuri anime (2003-2005)…thanks to Candy Boy. More Kanade-sama! *drools* TOO SHORT, TOO SHORT!! I hope Froth-Bite releases the next episodes soon…

Dream Vacay

Now that I’ve been to Thailand last summer, my dream vacation is to go to Japan. Not JUST go to Japan, but actually do something WORTHWHILE. Like, maybe, meet a celeb? ;) Haha. Yeah. It’s called a dream for a reason.

But ever since I’ve heard all these people going/who went to Japan, I’ve just been craving to go. And I was promised Thailand many years ago, and I finally got it; on the other hand, Japan was promised two years back…so it’s probably gunna happen in the near, distant future.
