Seiyuu Animal Counterpart

So OtaAgg and I were talking about how this month’s ep of Mnemosyne sucked…I didn’t watch it yet, so there wasn’t much to say, cept that [spoilers] Tanaka Rie came back and died again [/end spoilers]. Then she came to the conclusion that it was probably cuz she needed cash so the staff let her voice another ep. Since AN is coming, I thought that maybe she needed to buy another animal yakuza outfit to cosplay in.

Thus, spawned our needed conversation of dressing up our seiyuu with their animalia counterpart.

Evidently, Rie can’t be a gorilla, as that spot is already taken by Kobayashi Yu. XD
And every time I hear the name “Rie(Rie)” I think ‘DOG’. So there you have it.
OtaAgg then jumped to Mamiko, “If Mami was an animal, I’d see her as…a bunny =_= A fat one that’s really dumb and kinda sits around.” LOL, cos she’s so innocent and cute, thus the bunny image. But she won’t be able to run away from predators (like Shizuka Itou). And so, Shizuzu would probably be a fox – a very perverted one. XD

Chihara Minori would be a wolf, because she has the elegance. Tho I usually associate wolves as being ferocious beasts with dripping jaws and a dangerous growl…I personally think that Minorin is more of a blue jay…influenced by her Contact cover picture and I like blue jays. ^^ They’re pretty and they sound nice.

Hands down, Mizuki Nana is a mouse. LOL. Actually, mouse is reserved for someone else, so we decided that she’s a fruit bat, to give credit for her supersonic wave of a voice. XDXD

After laughing at Nana’s mouse with wings concept, we both looked at her dp of Inoue Marina cosplaying as Koenma (jr) from Yuyu Haksho, and just started laughing. I know I did. It’s such a distraction trying to think of an animal when you’re staring at a blackmail-worthy material like that XD (Actually, there are worse ones, but I LOL’d when I saw this pic.) So after 5 minutes of pondering, OtaAgg decided that Marina can be an owl, “She’s smart right? Owls are smart…right?” “But they’re dumb looking too. So there we go. Uni grad Marina who looks like a dumbass.” HAHA.

Yu is done. She’s a gorilla. “No one will dispute her animal.” LOL. And Rie should be a dog. And I can’t say this better than OtaAgg, “I can’t help but think that her outfit fits her like a second skin.” LMAO. Yeee. Yakuza Rie in a dog suit.

Backtrack: She thinks that Marina is suited for a dumber looking animal than an owl. Conclusion: Pig. LOL. I would say turtle, thanks to that clip of Yakitate!! Japan on j1m0ne’s blog. But I don’t know if turtles are smart, so we’ll leave that one out.

Next: Goto Yuko’s a monkey. Why? “Just stare at her face for a lil while. Doesn’t her face scream ‘MONKEY’?” Poor Kitamura Eri got bashed by OtaAgg: “KitaEri? Mmm…apparently she’s ugly without make-up. Lemme think. Something that’s kinda ugly, kinda cute, and loses a lot of blood…*thinks hard*” “She can be a whale! She blows blood instead of water. XD” HAHAH. I was thinking ‘KILLER WHALE’ at this point, and that is exactly what OtaEri will be. :D And if you think killer whales aren’t ugly, here is OtaAgg’s reasoning: “They’re so cute in pictures, but when you see them in real life, they’re ugly as f***. (Sorry KitaEri.)” HAHA. Oh man. That was exactly what I thought too.

Guess what Koshimizu Ami would be? Something with a really long neck that runs really fast. Too bad ostriches can’t fly. I had to mention Nakahara Mai only cuz you can get the name ‘Mai’ from ‘Ami’: “…if transvestite was an animal, Mai would be one.” HAHA. Oh dry. “But since they’re human…or considerably human…hmmm…I think Mai should be an owl.” “Creepy big eyes. And she always looks like she wants to eat someone. Ai…should be the one that’s eaten =_=” LOL, and it all goes back to the Shimizu Ai connection from Strawberry Panic! and the Himitsu Dolls PV. And since Nana’s the bat, Ai can be the mouse.

After countless hours screaming ‘HITO-NEE!’ I can’t believe OtaAgg forgot about her. XD Apparently the ‘someone important you missed’ was Hirano Aya. HAHA. “AYA = ROADKILL”. Kugimiya Rie and Ohara Sayaka skipped the list cuz she hasn’t gotten a proper look at their faces to justify them an animal. So, Nabatame Hitomi was designated a chameleon, due to the fact that “she can be hot as hell and other times, she’s ugly as f***.” So the only thing OtaAgg can think of that is ugly and pretty on occasion is a chameleon. And only she uses vulgar language to describe people she likes. XD

Condensed entry:
1. Noto Mamiko = a really fat dumb bunny that sits around.
2. Chihara Minori = an elegant wolf/a blue jay.
3. Mizuki Nana = a fruit bat with supersonic voice waves.
4. Inoue Marina = a smart uni grad pig (that’s dumber looking than an owl).
5. Kobayashi Yu = gorilla. Can’t convince me otherwise.
6. Tanaka Rie = a (yakuza) dog that fits her like a second skin.
7. Goto Yuko = monkey, says it all in the face.
8. Kitamura Eri = killer whale when she’s not wearing make-up.
9. Koshimizu Ami = ostrich; don’t you see the resemblance??
10. Nakahara Mai = transves—owl with creepy big eyes that feasts on…
11. Shimizu Ai = the poor mouse that Mai feasts on.
12. Hirano Aya = ROADKILL(ed duck).
13. Nabatame Hitomi = a chameleon who is ugly, and pretty, on occasion.
